We
move through many phases or "pachas," i.e., the pacha of
childhood, the pacha of the young adult, adult and elder.
"Pacha"
is a Quechua word meaning an "increment of time." It is
taught in the Andean Traditions that we live through many pachas during
our lifetime. Pachas are also presented as different aspects of our
shifting selves. We sense a shift when our jobs change, or when relationships
begin or end.
And
this is viewed as a new time or beginning pacha in our life.
Through
spiritworXshamanics energy work, individuals consider their
present selves and environment. This exploration, along with energy
moving techniques, helps facilitate "new possibilities"
or "new openings".
spiritworXshamanics is an energy practice facilitated with
creating sacred space, prayer and spirit... always working toward
the intention of an individuals "highest possible becoming".

Our
"job" is to hold the intention of wholeness by working from
a place of sacredness, prayer, love, appreciation and gratitude...
helping clients to feel they now have renewed resources and where

A
typical spiritworXshamanics session is about 1.5 hours long. We work
out of Vancouver/Burnaby, BC, but can facilitate remotely - distance
work.
A
client first discusses concerns, whether their challenges are physical,
emotional, environmental, spiritual, or all. We then energetically
assess or "map" what is happening, and together with spirit,
we and the client decide the best energy moving technique(s).
All
energy practices are about one thing, simply moving energy, and thereby
creating greater wholeness.

balancing the energetic field, releasing past patterns in your "luminous

Sourcing Reiki's "universal life energy" through the powerful
deep sound of the sacred drum and/or "hands on" classic treatment.
Offers deep clearing and shifting to come, where and when it's needed
to go towards one's highest good. This process can also be offered by
distance.

Journeying on your behalf and bringing back soul parts that have left
because of either physical or emotional trauma. Including working and
"dreaming" toward integrating "new" soul parts that
have returned; helping one to achieve renewed wholeness - three or more
sessions.

can get lodged in our light-body - crystallizing and manifesting as

has been initiated into the shamanic healing lineage of the Q'ero nation
in Peru through the Four Winds Society and carries a mesa (shaman's
altar/medicine bundle). She
is also a multi-faceted musician and visual artist.
She
has studied Celtic Shamanism, Core Shamanism with the Foundation of
Shamanic Studies and Healing the Lightbody through the Four Winds Society.

seventeen years experience as a clinical counselor working in Canada
and in developing countries.
She
has extensive experience in individual and group therapy, particularly
with life-skills management, stress management, mediation, conflict
resolution, adoption and parenting issues, couple issues and trauma
counselling.
In
2004, she was initiated into the healing traditions of the people of
Peru, through the Four Winds Society and is a mesa carrier.
She
finds that this healing practice has enhanced and strengthened her belief
that individuals when given the skills within sacred space can ultimately
heal themselves. Joan also works as an advocate on seniors issues in
South East Vancouver.
